The similarities between the Tower of Babel and corporate universities are startling. Babel, the city and its impressive tower, was created on the idea that when people work industriously together with a common language and purpose then great things are possible. And in many respects this is what the corporate university strives to achieve – a common culture and purpose. Roland Deiser in his article leverages this metaphor into the present day, exploring the variety of models that have emerged with a range of success over recent years.
